Photography and information for our women with cancer "Love Our Women" with LOW Cancer Network. Our MissionWe work together to make our cause known, to reach out to other groups who share our vision. Whether you’re ready to submit an article about your story, a friend/families story or make a donation for a free portrait session to help someone with cancer we welcome your support. What Inspired Us The Love Our Women (LOW Cancer Network) started when two photography partners decided to begin their own charity to help our women where cancer has affected their lifestyle. We do not charge our women for portraits that is why we ask for donations to help cover the costs for us to provide photography services for cancer patients and survivors. Our names are Leta and Joy and we want to bring awareness and support to our network "Love Our Women". The cancer in each family that has touched our hearts the most is the cancer each of our mothers have been afflicted with. Leta's mother had ovarian cancer stage III surgery and actually came though that horrible ordeal and began to live a healthy life only to be diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia three years later which gave her wings to heaven in less than twenty-four hours. Joy's mother has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and we are all in the process of supporting her through treatments and the mental stress of living with being diagnosed with cancer. Our mission to start "Love Our Women" started with the love for our families and most certainly our mother's. We have also been big supporters for local and nationwide charity organizations which support cancer as well as other diseases. We have been blessed to meet friends nationwide while involved in these charities, providing our photography services for veterans, public service officials, funerals, our military, as well as new born babies. Why One must ask why would two photographers want to photograph people who are so ill and stricken with a horrible disease. We must remember that each and everyone of us have been put on this earth for a reason. Weather it be short term or long term that footprint has still made its imprint on this earth, God's world and within our hearts. So with that being said all must be remembered and can be done though touching well directed and personal photography services. Photography to us is a therapy this helps with the process to cope and have a wonderful outcome or it can be therapy to help us grieve when put on our shoulders to bare. |
